The winners have been revealed!
As always, our judges had a tough time of things this year. For the designer categories, they had to assess the shortlisted entries on a number of key criteria, including the interpretation of the client brief, technical design and ergonomics, use of materials and – most important – the overall ‘wow-factor’.
For the manufacturer awards, due consideration was given to usability, aesthetics and most significantly to the degree to which the product demonstrates truly innovative design in the sector.
Thanks to our judges for contributing their valuable time to this process. This year, the panel included: Grahame Kynman (Kitchen and Bathroom Academy), David Fisher (Design Director of design studio Seymourpowell), Linda Grabham (interiors journalist and regular contributor to Designer), Dean Keyworth (founder of Keyworth Armstrong Interior Design), and Barbara Chandler (design writer for the Evening Standard and a number of other publications including Designer).
